Why did you start to Get The Kids Fit?

GTKF: We started GTKF for many reasons, but a couple that stand out was that we see the health and well-being issues in kids these days slightly on the rise, we noticed a lot was not being done for the vast majority and limited with options. We enjoyed playing sports and found it fun, but what stood out was the fun component. That motivated the idea and brought us to GTKF, most of if not all are fun-based structured programs with outcomes.

What drives you to build and grow Get The Kids Fit?

GTKF: The smile and end product with the kids, seeing kids move is infectious. It drives us to build a platform to influence those around them, we believe if we can make sure kids are moving and creating those healthy habits it will influence generations to come.

What is your advice to other Australian Entrepreneurs thinking of taking their operations to the UAE?

GTKF: Do your market research in the region, the area is full of opportunities. Give yourself time it doesn’t happen straight away, ask those who have done it before, it’s always evolving from what I have noticed. Lastly, make sure you a financially stable and you are aware of the cost associated, last thing you want to do is get emotionally invested but can’t back it financially. If you believe in what you are doing let the world see it.

We thank GTKF for sharing their experience with us, and we wish them continued success.
